Production Process



 

  1. Ingredients: We carefully select high-density polyethylene raw materials according to your design requirements. To enhance the geomembrane's properties, we add additives such as carbon black, antioxidants, and UV absorbers to improve its resistance to oxidation and UV rays.

  2. Melting: The selected high-density polyethylene raw material is melted through an extruder, resulting in a molten plastic.

  3. Blow Molding: The molten plastic is blown into a thin film shape using our state-of-the-art blow molding machine. This process forms a thin film by blowing the plastic out from the circular cross-section nozzle.

  4. Cooling: The blown geosynthetic film is gradually cooled to room temperature using a cooling device, facilitating further processing.

  5. Traction: The cooled geotextile is pulled through a traction device at a set speed and direction to achieve the desired thickness.

  6. Cutting: According to the design specifications, the geomembrane is cut after traction to form a specified length and width.

  7. Inspection: We conduct a thorough quality inspection on the produced geotextile, evaluating its thickness, strength, toughness, oxidation resistance, and other aspects. Only qualified geomembranes proceed to the next process.

Geomembrane, an essential geosynthetic material, is widely used in geotechnical and civil engineering projects. Its exceptional anti-seepage, corrosion resistance, deformation adaptability, and frost resistance make it indispensable in various construction applications.

 

Installation Steps of Geomembrane

 

Preparation Work

 

  • Ensure that the construction site meets the necessary requirements, remove debris and dust, and ensure a flat and solid foundation.

  • Avoid dragging or forcefully pulling the geomembranes during transportation and storage to prevent any damage.

Measurement and Cropping

 

  • Accurately measure the dimensions of the laying area before cutting the geomembrane, and cut it according to the actual needs.

  • Leave a margin of 1.5% during cutting to account for local sinking and stretching, avoiding excessive tightness.

Laying

 

  • Keep the geomembranes flat and tightly pressed from bottom to top, ensuring a secure fit between membranes and between membranes and the substrate.
