Our blow molded geomembrane, manufactured by Dezhou Sentai Environmental Technology Company Limited, is a high-quality anti-seepage material designed to meet your specific needs. Made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this geomembrane offers exceptional durability and performance.

 

Production Process

 

  1. Ingredients: We carefully select the finest high-density polyethylene raw materials according to your design requirements. To enhance the geomembrane's resistance to oxidation and UV rays, we add appropriate amounts of carbon black, antioxidants, and UV absorbers.

  2. Melting: The selected high-density polyethylene raw material is melted using an extruder, resulting in a molten plastic.

  3. Blow Molding: Under controlled pressure, the molten plastic is blown into a thin film shape using our state-of-the-art blow molding machine. This process forms a thin film as the plastic is blown out from the circular cross-section nozzle.

  4. Cooling: The blown geosynthetic film is gradually cooled to room temperature using our advanced cooling device, ensuring optimal conditions for subsequent processing.

  5. Traction: The cooled geotextile is pulled through a traction device at a set speed and direction, achieving the desired thickness.

  6. Cutting: Following design specifications, the geomembrane is cut after traction to create the specified length and width.

  7. Inspection: We conduct rigorous quality inspections on the produced geotextile, assessing thickness, strength, toughness, oxidation resistance, and other crucial aspects. Only geomembranes that meet our high standards proceed to the next process.

Geomembrane, a vital geosynthetic material, finds extensive use in geotechnical and civil engineering projects. Installation Steps of Geomembrane:



 

Preparation Work:

 

  • Ensure that the construction site meets the necessary requirements, remove debris and dust, and ensure a flat and solid foundation.

  • Avoid dragging or forcefully pulling the geomembranes during transportation and storage to prevent any damage.


  •  


 

Measurement and Cropping:

 

  • Accurately measure the dimensions of the laying area and cut the geomembrane accordingly.

  • Leave a margin of 1.5% during cutting to accommodate local sinking and stretching.


  •  


 

Laying:

 

  • Keep the geomembranes flat and tightly pressed from bottom to top, ensuring a tight fit between membranes and between membranes and the substrate.

  • Allow a slight looseness in the laying of the membrane to avoid bubbles at the bottom.

  • The laying sequence should start from the slope and progress towards the bottom of the field. When laying on a slope, align the film parallel to the maximum slope line.

Joint Treatment:

 

  • Ensure that the longitudinal joints of adjacent frames are staggered by more than 1 meter and not on the same horizontal line.

  • Place the longitudinal joint at least 1.5 meters away from the foot of the dam or any bends, on a flat surface.

  • The overlap width between membranes should be at least 10 centimeters.

Fixation and Protection:

 

  • After laying the geotextile membrane, press it with sandbags to prevent wind movement.

  • Make detailed records and numbering for corners and deformed areas.
