Installation Instructions

Construction precautions:
1. The storage and transportation of bentonite waterproof blankets should be waterproof, moisture-proof, and resistant to strong sunlight exposure. When storing, overhead methods should be used to cushion it, and the bentonite waterproof blanket transported to the site should be used up on the same day.
2. When carrying out the next process or adjacent engineering construction, the completed bentonite waterproof blanket should be properly protected and not damaged by anyone.
3. Try to avoid wearing spiked shoes and high heels to step on the bentonite waterproof blanket; Vehicles and other machinery are not allowed to crush the bentonite waterproof blanket.
4. In the construction of GCL waterproof blanket, the completed GCL should have a 500mm thick clay protective layer laid on the same day; If the construction of the protective layer cannot be completed on the same day, GCL should be covered to prevent it from being hydrated due to rain, snow, and strong sunlight exposure.
5. After the completion and acceptance of the GCL single-layer anti-seepage and waterproofing construction project, soil, sand or stone particles with a specific gravity greater than 2.0 should be used for backfilling. To prevent damage to GCL during backfilling, the backfill soil should not contain gravel with a particle size greater than 10mm, and the thickness of the backfill soil should not be less than 30cm. Backfill soil should be graded and compacted, with a compaction degree not less than 85%.
