Product Description
Composite geotextile, also known as composite geotextile or anti-seepage geotextile, abbreviated as composite membrane, is divided into two types: one fabric and one membrane. It plays a role in preventing seepage. Composite geomembranes are mostly used for anti-seepage in reservoirs, artificial lakes, and rivers. Composite geomembrane has excellent anti permeability performance. It is composed of multi-layer structures such as polymer materials and non-woven fabrics, which effectively prevent the infiltration of water and gas. This enables it to play a role in isolating groundwater and surface water in hydraulic engineering, avoiding the occurrence of foundation settlement and collapse.
The performance characteristics of composite geomembrane include good flexibility, high adaptability to deformation, corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance, and good frost resistance. In addition to its functions of geotextile isolation, drainage, reinforcement, and protection, it also has a sealing (anti-seepage) function.
Application: Widely used in many fields such as water conservancy dams, transportation tunnels, road construction, airports, drainage, housing, environmental protection, etc., it mainly plays a role in anti-seepage, protection, reinforcement, etc. in engineering.
The main mechanism is to use the impermeability of plastic film to isolate the leakage channel of the earth dam, and to withstand water pressure and adapt to dam deformation with its large tensile strength and elongation; Non woven fabric is also a type of polymer short fiber chemical material, which is formed by needle punching or hot bonding, and has high tensile strength and elongation. When combined with plastic film, it not only increases the tensile strength and puncture resistance of plastic film, but also increases the friction coefficient of the contact surface due to the rough surface of non-woven fabric, which is conducive to the stability of composite geotextile and protective layer. At the same time, they have good corrosion resistance to bacteria and chemical reactions, are not afraid of acid, alkali, and salt erosion, and have a long service life when used in a dark environment.

Construction precautions
1. Construction preparation
(1) Quality inspection of composite geomembrane materials: The composite geomembrane used is a composite geomembrane made of two fabrics and one membrane.
(2) The cleaning and leveling of the embankment slope, the removal of all sharp corners and debris, the backfilling and compaction of the underslope, and the excavation and leveling of the rich slope shall be inspected and accepted by the supervisor, providing a working surface for the laying of composite geomembranes.
(3) For the convenience of construction and to ensure the quality of splicing, the composite geotextile membrane should be used as wide as possible to reduce the amount of on-site splicing. Before construction, it should be cut within the unit according to the width and length requirements of the composite geotextile membrane, and spliced into blocks that meet the required size. They should be rolled onto steel pipes and manually transported to the working face for laying.
Laying method: The composite geotextile film is laid in two parts: laying at the bottom of the channel and laying on the slope surface. Canal bottom laying: horizontally roll along the channel axis direction. Slope laying: After passing the acceptance inspection of the slope, roll and lay along the axis of the slope, and connect with the composite geotextile membrane at the bottom of the channel using a T-shaped connection.
(2) Technical requirements for laying: The laying should be carried out in dry and warm weather. In order to facilitate splicing and prevent stress concentration, the composite geotextile film should be laid in a wave shaped relaxation method with an excess of about 1.5%. After spreading, it should be leveled and pulled open in a timely manner. The composite geotextile film should match the slope surface smoothly without any protrusions or wrinkles. Construction personnel should wear flat bottomed cloth shoes or soft rubber shoes, and nail shoes are strictly prohibited to avoid damaging the geotextile film. If damage is found to the geotextile film during construction, It should be repaired in a timely manner.
