1, Composite geomembrane raw materials
Composite geosynthetic membrane is a geosynthetic anti-seepage material composed of plastic film as the anti-seepage substrate and non-woven fabric. Its anti-seepage performance mainly depends on the anti-seepage performance of the plastic film.
The plastic films used for anti-seepage applications both domestically and internationally mainly include polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE), and ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA). They are polymer chemical flexible materials with small specific gravity, strong extensibility, high adaptability to deformation, corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance, and good frost resistance

2, Design of Composite Geomembrane Engineering
Select appropriate types and specifications based on the nature, category, application location, usage conditions, design requirements, etc. of the project.
Determine the thickness of the geomembrane based on the required water pressure strength in engineering design, as well as application conditions such as exposure, burial pressure, climate, and service life.
Based on the actual size, area, construction conditions, and construction capacity of the project, the width and length of the geomembrane are determined with the principle of minimizing joints during construction.

3, Types of composite geomembrane

4, Production process of composite geomembrane
Simply put, it is the process of making plastic particles into a plastic film through the method of coating, which becomes a geotextile, also known as a waterproof board (depending on the thickness of the geotextile). Due to the use of geotextile (woven fabric or plastic woven fabric) as the base fabric, composite geomembrane not only has the functions of geotechnical isolation, drainage, reinforcement, and protection, but also has the function of sealing (anti-seepage).
