Production Process



 

  1. Ingredients: We carefully select high-density polyethylene raw materials according to your design specifications. To enhance the geomembrane's resistance to oxidation and UV rays, we add the appropriate amount of additives, including carbon black, antioxidants, and UV absorbers.

  2. Melting: The selected HDPE raw material is melted using an extruder, resulting in a molten plastic.

  3. Blow Molding: Under controlled pressure, the molten plastic is blown into a thin film shape using our advanced blow molding machine. This process forms a thin film as the plastic is blown out from the circular cross-section nozzle.

  4. Cooling: The blown geosynthetic film is gradually cooled to room temperature through our efficient cooling device, facilitating further processing.

  5. Traction: The cooled geotextile is pulled through a traction device at a set speed and direction to achieve the desired thickness.

  6. Cutting: Following the design specifications, the geomembrane is cut after traction to achieve the required length and width.

Geomembrane, an essential geosynthetic material, finds extensive application in geotechnical and civil engineering projects. Installation Steps of Geomembrane:



 

Preparation Work:

 

  • Ensure that the construction site meets all necessary requirements, including debris and dust removal, and a flat and solid foundation.

  • Avoid dragging or forcefully pulling the geomembranes during transportation and storage to prevent any damage.


  •  


 

Measurement and Cropping:

 

  • Accurately measure the dimensions of the laying area before cutting the geomembrane, ensuring precise dimensions.

  • Leave a margin of 1.5% during cutting to account for local sinking and stretching, avoiding overly tight cuts.


  •  


 

Laying:

 

  • Ensure the geomembranes are laid flat and tightly pressed from bottom to top, both between membranes and between membranes and the substrate.

  • Keep the laying of the membrane slightly loose to prevent bubbles from forming at the bottom.

  • The laying sequence should start from the slope and progress towards the bottom of the field. When laying on slopes, align the film direction parallel to the maximum slope line.

Joint Treatment:

 

  • Stagger the longitudinal joints of adjacent frames by at least 1 meter, avoiding alignment on the same horizontal line.

  • Place the longitudinal joint at least 1.5 meters away from the foot of the dam or any bends, ensuring a flat surface for joint placement.
