Introduction to Geotextile 

Geotextile is a type of geosynthetic material made of polyester and polypropylene fibers, classified into short-filament and long-filament types. The 300g specification is widely adopted in construction projects. Featuring excellent water permeability, tensile strength and anti-aging performance, it is easy to install and commonly used in roadbeds, dams, river channels, landfills and other infrastructure.
It serves four core functions: filtration, drainage, separation and protection. Laid between soil layers, it blocks fine soil particles while draining accumulated water smoothly to prevent soil softening and settlement. It separates fillers of different grain sizes to stop sand and soil from mixing and damaging foundation structures. When placed on slope protection or outside anti-seepage liners, it buffers water erosion and avoids damage to geomembranes.
300g geotextile balances tensile performance and cost efficiency. It fits road reconstruction, artificial lake anti-seepage, river slope stabilization and residential green drainage. Filtration Application

Geotextiles are mainly used for water and soil filtration in construction sites, commonly laid on river embankments, dams, foundation pits, drainage blind ditches and other parts. With the uniform microporous structure of the fabric, it allows water to pass through while retaining soil particles. It can smoothly drain seepage and accumulated water in the soil and intercept fine soil particles to prevent the soil layer from being washed and hollowed out by water flow. It can replace traditional sand and gravel filter layers, avoid blockage failure, stabilize soil structure, prevent slope sliding, foundation settlement and soil erosion, and greatly improve the overall stability of civil engineering projects.

Drainage Application

Geotextiles are widely used as auxiliary drainage layers in roadbed, tunnel, retaining wall, landfill and other construction projects.
