Cement blankets have good drapability and can conform to the complex shapes of the surface of the covered object, even forming hyperbolic shapes. The cement blanket before solidification can be cut or cut freely with ordinary manual tools.
The fibers in the cement blanket enhance the strength of the material, prevent cracking, and absorb impact energy to form a stable failure mode.
Cement blankets have good chemical resistance, are resistant to wind and rain erosion, and do not undergo UV degradation under sunlight.
The bottom of the cement blanket is lined with polyethylene (PVC), making it completely waterproof and enhancing the material's chemical resistance.
Cement blankets do not aid in combustion and have good flame retardant properties. When caught on fire, the smoke is very small and the emission of hazardous gases is minimal. The cement blanket has reached the B-s1 and d0 levels of the European building material flame retardant standards.

Construction precautions
1. Before laying the cement blanket, it is necessary to clean up the garbage on the ground, and then use professional tools to level the foundation to ensure that there is no water accumulation or other problems;
2. For the floor, use tape or double-layer cloth to wipe off the surface dust before installation to prevent contamination of the concrete;
3. Select the appropriate type of adhesive according to the recommended thickness in the manual;
4. Use specialized scraper blades prepared by professionals to scrape off the bumps and unevenness formed during the concrete hardening process;
5. After the final setting of the concrete (which usually cools naturally after 24 hours in summer), perform a second compaction and overall roughening;
6. The next step is to fix the finished flooring in the usual way to avoid being blown away or displaced by the wind;
7. During the installation process of cement blankets, it is necessary to strengthen observation, especially in rainy weather. If this step is not done well, it is easy to cause a significant decrease in the construction quality of cement blankets!
1. The laying of cement blankets should avoid strong air vents as much as possible to avoid affecting the construction quality due to moisture regain on the ground;
2. Before use, it is necessary to conduct a thorough ripening test to check whether it is qualified before officially conducting large-scale mining;
3. On the horizontal base layer, it must be ensured to be solid and free of debris or sand, gravel, and other foreign objects such as oil stains and ice and snow, and the soil content should not exceed 5% (by weight);
4. After the installation of the cement blanket is completed, the surrounding area of the slab should be leveled to ensure stability and firmness before filling construction can be carried out;
5. The curing time for concrete is about 7 days, and the curing period for each watering is not less than two weeks;
6. The thickness of the cement cushion layer is generally 100-150mm, and the cement ratio is adjusted appropriately according to the climate temperature difference and on-site pouring conditions.
