Blow molded geomembrane is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) based anti-seepage material, designed to provide excellent protection against leakage. Production Process

 

  1. Ingredients: Our blow molded geotextile is crafted using carefully selected high-density polyethylene raw materials. To enhance its performance, we incorporate additives like carbon black, antioxidants, and UV absorbers, ensuring superior resistance to oxidation and UV rays.

  2. Melting: The chosen high-density polyethylene raw material is melted using an extruder, resulting in a molten plastic.

  3. Blow Molding: Under controlled pressure, the molten plastic is blown into a thin film shape through our state-of-the-art blow molding machine. This process forms a circular cross-section nozzle, allowing the plastic film to be blown out and shaped into a thin film.

  4. Cooling: The blown geosynthetic film gradually cools to room temperature with the help of our advanced cooling device, facilitating subsequent processing.

  5. Traction: Our geotextile is then pulled through a traction device at a predetermined speed and direction to achieve the desired thickness.

  6. Cutting: Following design specifications, the geotextile is cut after traction to obtain the specified length and width.

Installation Steps of Geomembrane



 

Preparation Work:

 

  • Ensure that the construction site meets the necessary requirements by removing debris and dust, and ensuring a flat and solid foundation.

  • Avoid dragging or forcefully pulling the geomembranes during transportation and storage to prevent any damage.

Measurement and Cropping:

 

  • Accurately measure the dimensions of the laying area and cut the geomembrane accordingly.

  • Leave a margin of 1.5% during cutting to account for local sinking and stretching.

Laying:

 

  • Keep the geomembranes flat and tightly pressed from bottom to top, both between membranes and between membranes and the substrate.

  • Ensure a slightly loose laying of the membrane to avoid bubbles forming at the bottom.

  • The laying sequence should start from the slope to the bottom of the field, with the film direction being parallel to the maximum slope line when laying the slope.

Joint Treatment:

 

  • Ensure that the longitudinal joints of adjacent frames are staggered by more than 1 meter and not on the same horizontal line.
