Composite drainage network is a new type of geosynthetic material, which consists of a three-dimensional geosynthetic core with needle punched non-woven geotextile adhered to both sides. Due to the combination of geotextile (anti filtration effect) and geotextile mesh (drainage and reinforcement protection effect), it can provide a complete "anti filtration drainage protection" effect.

The geotextile core of the composite drainage network itself includes a thick vertical rib, as well as one diagonal rib at the top and one diagonal rib at the bottom. It can quickly discharge groundwater from roads and has a pore maintenance system that can block capillary water under high loads. Moreover, it can withstand high compressive loads throughout the entire usage process and maintain a considerable thickness, providing excellent hydraulic conductivity.

 

There are many advantages to drainage networks themselves: 1. Strong drainage ability (equivalent to one meter thick gravel drainage). 2. High tensile strength. 3. Installation Instructions

Before laying the composite drainage network, the foundation should be carried out. Firstly, the next layer should be leveled and compacted, with a flatness not exceeding 15mm and a density that meets the design requirements. The surface must not have hard and protruding objects such as gravel and gravel. Paving the natural environment; Outdoor temperature above 5 ºC, wind below level four, no rain or snow. In case of special circumstances, construction must be carried out in a natural environment and protective measures should be taken.

When paving the composite drainage network, it should be flat and level, and not crooked or stretched. Overlapping areas should be fixed with U-shaped nails or connectors. The direction of the main compressive strength of the reinforcement should be perpendicular to the direction of the dam foundation, and the length of each overlapping steel bar should be equivalent to the main compressive strength of the building steel bar. The overlap (vertical) should not be less than 15 centimeters, fixed with U-shaped nails or connectors at intervals of 1.0 meters. The length of the horizontal steel bars should be 30-90 centimeters, and the overlapping parts of the steel bars should be fixed with U-shaped nails or plastic ropes.
 

Subsequently, backfill soil was carried out to solve the problem. The filling material for the dam foundation within the scope of the composite drainage network should not exceed a larger diameter of 6cm. The first layer of the composite drainage network should use a lightweight excavator or front small shovel truck, and the road should be compacted along the embankment direction. The compacted thickness should exceed 60cm. After the raw materials of the composite drainage network are paved in a timely manner, filling materials should be added immediately to prevent prolonged exposure to the sun. The general time interval should not exceed two days.
